OUR MISSION:
The Morgan Hill Cops for Kids Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2016 as a non-profit charitable arm of the Morgan Hill Police Officers Association.
The mission of the organization is to foster relationships between law enforcement and youth in the Morgan Hill community.
We hold this golf tournament to raise funds for our big event during the Christmas holidays - Shop with a Cop. Shop with a Cop provides up to 125 fourth grade students from the Morgan Hill School District an opportunity to spend some time getting to know, and shop, with an uniformed police officer. Each student is given $100 to purchase gifts for family members, teachers, and themselves at Target. Shop with a Cop is both needs-based an earned. Each teacher provides us with names of those children who would normally not have much for the holidays. Additionally, we have the class vote for students who exemplify leadership and good behavior.
Shop with a Cop events are held around the nation during the holidays or as a back to school program. Believe or not.... Our Shop with a Cop program is one of the largest private Shop with a Cop events in the nation!! Little 'ol Morgan Hill! All this is possible because of our golf tournament attendees and donors.
